There are a variety of Merit Badges to earn while a Boy Scout.  You can visit http://www.meritbadge.com.  On the site you'll find the Eagle Required Merit Badges in bold print.  The boy wears his Merit Badges that he earns on a sash. It's worn a cross the chest.
